My profession is teaching English as a Second Language.  My instructional focus is on teaching Public Speaking to ESL students; I have even written curriculum on the subject.  I fully embrace and enjoy public speaking!  Being given the opportunity to speak about sewing is one of my favorite gifts.  I have had the pleasure of giving formal presentations to Tulsa Modern Quilt Guild, Oklahoma Business Women Conference, Oklahoma City Modern Quilt Guild, NW Arkansas Modern Quilt Guild, and Owl & Drum Stitch Society over topics spanning improvisational piecing, the craft/handmade movement, assembly line sewing, and approaching large scale projects with confidence.  I am open to all inquiries regarding public speaking engagements!
